Temptation

 Temptation

An Original Poem By: Pen Tempest

'Twas bestowed upon Earth and held in contempt
Those of who succumb were forever exempt
But when curiosity is at hand evil will lurk
And those without care know chaos will work

Yet compassion runs deep thus mercy was shown
In turn for those who betrayed He forfeit his throne
So in flesh and with action the message once spread
But now our patience runs thin and our hope from a thread

Still take a moment, don't act with such haste
Where do you want to be when our time is erased?
And remember think twice before committing foul act
Cause it is never too late for a soul to retract

For to say that you can whenever asked why
Is not fair reason -in fact it is lie
So I beg of thee listen for what I say is true
Just because something is there does not mean it is for you.
