Three Wishes

Three Wishes

An Original Poem By: Koalafied Poet

A heart broken into pieces,
A hope to have just three wishes,
A love that ran out of time,
A chance to have what was mine.

I’ll gladly give my own soul away,
For a chance to see you another day,
For once a wish might come true,
But in a way I might rue.

One wish to get you back alive,
Without you being in disguise,
To hold you like I did,
Before I ran away and hid.

A second wish more than the first,
To save my hearts longing thirst,
For a love that I left out of dread,
That you just might end up dead.

The third and last thing that I wish,
Is that you’ll be happy and in bliss,
A love that ran out of time,
A chance to have what once was mine.
