Spirit Week

Is it just me, or are the costumes for Spirit Week slacking? Costumes are supposed to be something fun and exciting to wear, but there are people that actually don’t dress up. Though, I imagine it is mostly due to the fact that there are hardly any cool themed days. Hero day and 80’s day are fine, but pajama day; really, no one wants to come to school in their big, pink, fuzzy, bunny pajamas and be made fun of, and I don’t blame them.  We need days like, Superhero day and Disco day, not Pajama day and Fake-an-Injury day! Also, every year I see people with amazing costumes and they aren’t rewarded for that. We should have daily prizes for Spirit Week! Prizes for Best, 2^nd place, and 3^rd place costumes as well as most original. I believe this would increase more school spirit!
